First 10k a.m. humpday of 2019
This week will be a lot of “ the first of the year” things. After running a half marathon yesterday, I had to run the first 10k a.m. humpday run of 2019.. And it was a struggle. Which is very telling considering last year I ran a back to back half marathon and my times( both of them) were much better than yesterday’s half.
I’m in marathon training mode and I know I have to increase my mileage each week. Running six miles should not have been a big thing but it was. We’ll see how next Wednesday will be since I wouldn’t have run a half marathon the day before.
I ran in south boston through Castle Island and Carson Beach. There were people out running in the dark of the morning as well. Some were by themselves others were paired up, some didn’t even have any reflective gear on, which is weird to me.
In the chill, dark, and with hands freezing I ran my miles.
