Last run.....two weeks off

Last run.....two weeks off

Today I’m in Springfield Massachusetts for a Massachusetts Teachers Association ( MTA) conference. I wanted to run and explore before the 8 a.m session started. I’ve never been to Springfield, maybe once before but I don’t remember. That’s what I enjoy about running, to explore things via foot. The surrounds look different when your own foot verses driving by. I learned that Springfield is the home of Dr. Seuss, Basketball, the first gasoline powered car, and so much more.

As I tried to run. I will say try to run, I had to walk across the memorial bridge which leads to West Springfield. My knee was not having it. I thought it was fine but it is not. I did go to the doctor’s before I left and I have a MRI scheduled for next Thursday. To be smart and learn patience. I’m not going to run or do any type of Cardio until after I get results.

In the meantime because I couldn’t run I walked 1.43 miles in downtown Springfield. I forgot I use to walk all the time. I didn’t go as far as I wanted but I walked.

I have to preserve my sexy…..:)
