Post Election Day Run

Post Election Day Run

COVID-19, ‘The Rona”

It’s the day after the election and we still do not know who is president. I’m hoping that Biden will be and we can start making things right again but I don’t know. When I went to bed he was ahead of that man to, 270 electoral votes. I just can’t be attached to social media today. I need a break and not think of why over 63 million people voted for a man that supports white supremacy, doesn’t care about democracy, lies, and is a fascist. I just can’t.

Today I know I need to run. I have to teach class and I have 4 hours of meetings back to back. I need to let out some emotions. Normally today would be a 10k a.m. humpday. I managed to make it a 5k a.m. humpday.

The part that sucks is stopping. I was so distracted and couldn’t think yesterday, I didn’t work on getting my lecture ready for today. I couldn’t run for a long period of time because I had work to do.

I ran along the Mystic River by Assembly Row. It was quiet and a nice day to run. I had a good stride going on. My energy and pace was good. I could have ran a 10k. Should of, could of, would of.

5k in post election and some strength training is what happened today.
