Last Friday run of June 2020

Covid-19- The Rona Era

Here we are, Friday. This Friday is more than running super busy all before 11 a.m. Friday.

6am- acupuncture appointment. The acupuncturist did not show up. I rang the door bell and waited for 10mins..next

6:45 a.m. 2.18 miles running in Franklin Park. It’s Franklin Park Friday. This morning, it was still cool, light, and nice out. All the black and brown people were out running, walking and jogging. It was so good to see groups of older black men and women moving and exercising. In my 2.18 miles I only saw one white guy running. So who is the minority( at least racially )in this space. By contract going around the golf course, I saw nothing but white golfers.

Running this morning my kneed felt better, good, despite not going to see the acupuncturist this morning.

9.am. hair appointment. After I ran, I drove home for a shower and change of clothes. I called one of my favorite cousins because she was on my mind. We are 3 years apart and grew up like sisters. I got the latest family information.

Got my hair done! I had to wait a half an hour because the other hair stylist was in the back washing someone’s hair and there is not enough distance between shampoo bowls. So D and I sat talked and caught up before she did my hair.

11a.m. Union meeting zoom call. I didn’t make it until 11:15. I text them to let them know I was going to be late. The half an hour waiting to start to get my hair done pushed when I was able to leave and make it home.

I ran today. That is all
