COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Today feels like Fall again. It’s 63 degrees out and it’s chilly and rainy. Last night it rained hard and today is seeing some of left over effect. Also last night, I went to a social distancing birthday party for one of my dearest friends. There was lots of sugary cake, wine, rose, and Prosecco. Not to mention little bits of cheese, meats, breads, and mini cheesecakes. After five hours of bonding, gifts, laughs, food, and lots of drinks I went home.

Today I was not in the mood to get out of bed. I did a rookie mistake and not hydrate between the drinks and the sugar. Moving this morning is real slow. Since Fall’s visit to summer will be short I needed to take advantage of this visit. My motivational conversation with myself was just do a mile. Walk or run but just get a mile in.

I drove to Mary O Malley Park for to two reasons. One , it is next to Market Basket and I get get grocerys after I’m done and two: It’s a nice park to get a couple miles in. When I went there , it started to drizzle a bit. I needed to get a mile in. I started to walk a bit and then I ran. It was nice to run. Then I started walking because my friend Angie called and today was her first day back teaching at her school. I walked while we chatted.

When we finished I had 1.50 miles done. I moved and grooved something today. Check
