10k a.m. odd Beach humpday run

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

I’m glad that Fall is still sticking around. The 10k a.m. run is going to be a beach run. It’s been a while since I’ve actually run a 10k on humpday. Today I went to Revere Beach. Instead of running my regular revere beach path, I ran a different path. I ran from Revere Beach to Short Beach, to Winthrop Beach and back. The sunrise is rising later in the morning. Around 5:45 a.m. there were people sitting on the beach and waiting for the sun. I would have waited for the sun but I rather run into her.

I had this path to myself. I ran into the sun rising over the water, which is so awe inspiring. I continued on the quiet running path. On my back, I saw the workout classes on the beach, the seagulls, sunflowers, and some crazy scary hands that came out of no where. Can’t make this up.

When I ran back to Revere Beach , I was under six miles. It was 5.50 miles. Instead of calling it a wrap, I kept going because this Wednesday was going to be a 10k run day. When I finished it was 6.24 miles.
