Feels like a Winter run

Feels like a Winter run

OVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Tiffany Track Tuesday, Tiffany Track Tuesday, Tiffany Track Tuesday. I forgot it was Tiffany Track Tuesday. Monday’s MLK holiday threw me off. I thought today was Monday. Covid, time, and days of the week are so not my friends. Also, I was off day because I had to give a saliva sample for genetic testing. For the record it was hard to get all that spit of saliva in the test tube. I had to make sure there were no bubbles. Once that happened I took the per-package, fed-ex package to a fed distribution center. All of this took up my morning time. The Fedex distribution center is near Castle Island. That was my place to go for a morning run.

This morning it felt like winter. I could feel it in my bones. You would not know it for the colors of the sky and beauty of the fresh air and sea. But it was cold. Around Castle Island, the runners and walkers were all out for their morning winter run too. I’m glad I got 2.42 miles in. Then I had to hurry home for a 8:30 a.m. to start the many meetings of the day.
