Saturday- Post Thanksgiving- Long Run

Saturday- Post Thanksgiving- Long Run

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

Still in recovery from Thanksgiving. Recovery meaning, resting, taking it easy, being lazy, watching movies, eating leftovers, and just being. All are good Thanksgiving recovery things.

Friday, I went for a two mile walk. I moved. I didn’t feel like, nor was I in the mood to run. Today, Saturday, is a different ball game.

I went to the Charles Esplande to run some miles. It was windy as hell out. I don’t think I properly dressed because I ended up with wind burn on my face. I really need to start planning better when I run.

I parked by MIT and started on the Cambridge side of the Charles of the River. It was so cold. I had gloves, a baseball hat, and a jacket. Not enough. On this side of the city, the runners and walkers were still out and about, just like me. I saw men and women running solo but also groups of guys running together.

I’m thinking I ran 7 miles, but I ran 6.69 miles. I should have kept going for a full 7. I reached my car and I was done running. I’ll try it again next month.
