Last four for February

Last four for February

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Today is the last day in February. It’s Sunday and a bit warm for a winter’s day. I wanted to get in more walking miles today. February has been an interesting mixed bag. I had my lumpectomy on the 18th . First vaccination shot on the 26th , and my one year anniversary with SCJ today. This has been a busy month around my health. With all of that, I’m still able to walk and move. Looking back the morning of the 18th was the last time I ran. It’s been about 10 days which isn’t so bad. I’m overwhelmed and feel all the love from my family and friends who made sure I was going alright, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Being able to walk and still move my body has been a great source of stress relief. I have to remind myself to take things slow and be patient.

Today, I walked on the Tri- Community Greenway. It was peaceful and beautiful as I walked besides the stream that runs along the greenway. 4.13 walking miles in 1:22:33, around a 19:58min/ml. I was in no hurry while I walked.
