Heatwave , Beach walk

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

This is day two or three of the east coast heat wave. Yesterday the temperature reached 108 degrees out. Today might be another 100 degree type of day. This morning I walked on Revere Beach. At 6 a.m. everyone was out. When I say everyone, people were already laying on the beach and claiming their spots. I saw people in their bathing suits strolling along side the water. There was even a boot camp performing a mini running drill on the sand. This morning was active.

I got to the beach late. I was in the north of Boston place with my Iowan. On route to the beach I had to deal with summer early a.m traffic.

My plan for the day: Walk a mile and a half on the sidewalk and a mile and a half on the beach. I didn’t have to wait too long because I started to sweat in the 77 degree weather. The temperature will only rise up from here.

With all the activity this morning on the beach it was still quite. I just heard my music and the waves. I had about a 16 min/mil pace, which seems slow to me. I was not going to exert too much energy because it was hot. The longer I walk, the less annoying my “ groin pain” was. I’m happy that next week I get to see my doctor for a proper diagnosis of what this annoyance is.

Another early morning in “the cool” weather before getting my writing day started.
