COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

It’s already muggy out and it’s not even 5:30a.m. Hello Summer. This morning I actually got up and stretched for 6 minutes. I need to download the stretching app I had on my phone before. The app kept me honest and on point with stretching. This morning I was out the door by 5:45a.m. Which isn’t bad. It was already sunny and the birds had been chirping since 4:30 this morning- Joy.

I felt slow and stiff when I started running this morning. I knew it would take my body a while to get warmed up. Perhaps sleeping on the couch instead of my bed didn’t help either.

I ran from East Boston to Chelsea and Back to East Boston. I was sweating like crazy. There was a steady busy this morning which wasn’t too bad. I was able to capture the sun while running and see some lovely flowers.

I ran along the harborwalk and was so thankful for the amazing ocean breeze to finish the last mile.

6.11 miles in 1h 6mins/ 10:50pace.
