Thursday sunrise run
COVID-19, β The Rona Eraβ
Fall is knocking on Summerβs door. He is not welcomed yet. Itβs 57 degrees at 5:50a.m. and sunrise is not until 6:05 a.m. Darkness is coming. But itβs not here yet, damnit!
This week starts BAA half training. The training plan I have has a 5k and 3.5 mile run. this week. Because of strength training I havenβt run as much. Well, all that is about to change.
I ran along the mystic river reservation. That has been a route I havenβt done in a while. Since it has been a while, things have changed. The path I was going to run into Charlestown was closed off. Ok, recalculate to running through east Somerville. People were going to workβ¦walking, waiting for the bus, and driving. To be honest this was a good morning to run. I realized I was tired. More running training is need.
Good start for the 5k- 3.10 miles; 34:18; 11:03 pace
