July 14: My Heart is for Revere Beach
Last morning run before Chicago. Running along America's First Public Beach also inspires. This morning it was 5:15am and I saw a lot of stuff. Kids, maybe high school age were listening to music, talking, laughing, smoking...something. At 5 something on a Thursday am? And further down there was an exercise group/class all signing in on the clipboard before running the beach and doing exercises. And in between all of that was a bunch of people sleeping in their cars. Others were reading in their cars and some drinking in their cars. Have to love it.
Still early, muggy, and light out and all this was happening. I wonder if this will be the case along Lake Michigan? This was so "Revere Beach". Truly a mixture of America.
