No getting pushed over for 5k
Spring is here. The birds are chirping at 4:30am. I should be up with the birds. I wanted to enjoy the 9 hours of sleep. Monday was a rest day and recover from the uphill, windy, straight 13.1. Kicking off the day with a 5k run on Deer Island. I wanted to mix up the scene a bit. 5:15am and it was 57 degrees out.
And the runners and walkers were out before 6 am too. I know I've said this before but my time is getting slower. Slower time, more body weight. :(.
Yesterday I finally went to the grocery store. I'm going to up the food and reduce the bad stuff to see if I can get some of these pounds off. In less than a month I'll be in Montana and I know there will be hills, trails, and heat. My goal is to be 5-10 pounds less than I am now. That gives me 3 weeks.
