We are suppose to get snow but today for Veteran’s day it feels like a nice spring morning at 45 degrees. To honor our Veterans I thought it would be great to run 11.11 miles on 11/11. Once again I am just so cleaver. I had trouble working out my route so I would run 11.11 miles and not be over or under miles. My not fully thought out plan was to run along the freedom trail. I would start in the South End and run and explore.
On the gratitude historic run, I passed by Harriet Tubman, Massachusetts 54th regiment, USS Constitution, Paul Revere landing, Puerto Rican Veterans, Battle of Bunker Hill , and other historic markers that acknowledge veterans and those who served in some way.
I miscalculated my run. By 10 miles I didn’t know where to run without running in circles just to get to 11.11 miles. I got 10.16 miles done instead. My run took me from the South End, Back Bay, North End, Charlestown, Financial District, and Downtown Crossing.
