It feels like a spring morning because it;s 37 degrees out on this winter a.m. Today( Friday) should be a rest day but I took the rest day on Wednesday. Balancing work with training can be overwhelming at some point, considering the craziness of academia. I’m behind with work and Wednesday I had to try to catch up.
On my training schedule ( on Wednesday) I was suppose to do 8 miles, I just did it on Friday instead. Today I had a good 8.29 mile run. Rest on Wednesday and Treadmill workout made for a good Friday run. I’m working on the nutrition and ate some oatmeal before I ran. I think that helped, along with the warm weather, and school vacation week. I did have to be a bit cautious for black ice( no slipping and falling while training).
Saturday is 20 miles. I hope I’m ready. :)
