16 degrees outside 80 degrees inside
Winter in March is still brutal. So glad that today is a treadmill workout and I could stay inside,I think :) . This workout was extremely hard. I don’t know why, but I felt like my heart was racing extra fast, more so than normal. Hill work was a challenge but I kept on running. The young woman next to me got winded or tired and she had to lower her speed. I’m going to focus on me.
I felt extra hot and sweaty. I odd part was that I cranked up the speed to 7.5 and held it for 30 seconds. I was in the 7.0 range for 4 of our 30 second speeds. Today I did run 5 miles. Because of the changing inclines and speeds, it seems like I went longer than 5 miles and should have burned more than 200 calories in 45 minutes. LOL 5 more Thursdays of Treadmill workouts.
