Foggy, artsy, holiday Saturday run

Foggy, artsy, holiday Saturday run

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Saturday and sleeping in, is the best thing. I actually stayed in bed two hours longer than usual. Of course my sleeping in and staying in bed until 7 a.m. I wanted to run a good long run this morning, that was the plan. Today is going to be in the 50s weather wise. When I left the house, it was foggy, warm, and cool all at the same time. The snow was fully melted off the ground and it looked and felt like a winter snow storm might be coming but it wasn’t. I was overly layered for this mornings run.

I chose to run in the Mystic River Reservations. While running I saw different views and I would say angles from the sun this morning. Nature and the sun rising in the sky is very artful. Since it was nice out, I saw many people walking and running this morning. My stalkers were all in the water and eating away in the grass too.

My body felt good while running. I was running at a 9:54min/mile pace. I know I could have run more than 4.16 miles if I had concrete direction of a running route. Usually I don’t explore beyond the route I normally run when I go to the Mystic River Reservation. I’ll make a note to myself to do my exploring or preplan.

Overall my average pace 10:11, 42:20 mins, 459 cals, and 4.16 for Saturday.
