Hello SPRING

Hello SPRING

COVID-19 Era

It’s raining outside. It’s not a drizzle outside but a good solid rain out. Today is the first day of spring. Normally if it rains my assets would go straight back to bed. Normal doesn’t exist right now. This would be my only outing of the day, rain or no rain before I’m on lock down. SO I was running this morning no matter what.

Spring to me means spring races. The Boston Marathon has been postpone til September. My State #47 in Oregon has been postpone til next year. We are going to teach online until the end of April. So much.

I wanted to feel the inspiration and excitement of spring. I was going to run part of the Boston Marathon route and be by the finish line.

I ran down Bolyston street to the finish line. Then I went back and wanted to run part of the route. I passed the famous Ciso sign and then I ran by Fenway Park. Not apart of the Boston Marathon Route but Spring means Baseball. This was part of my wet, spring themed run.

I read that people were encouraged to put up Christmas lights to uplift people’s spirits. I happened to run by some lighted trees.

It was an overall First Day of Spring win with 4.01 miles under my feet.
