Urban Art, Nature, and Geese

Urban Art, Nature, and Geese

COVID-19 “The Rona” Era

No more Treadmill Thursday. I need a new running theme for Thursday. Terrain Thursday or Totally Fun Thursday? Clearly I have to spend more time on on the theme.

The running plan for the day was low miles and to run by the MFA- Museum of Fine Art. I saw on the news, one of the outside art sculpture that’s in the shape of a head had a face mask on it. A guerilla artist put surgical face mask around the mouth of the sculpture. I wanted to run by it this morning.

When I got to the MFA, the museum folks had taken it off. :(. I still enjoyed running around the outside of the museum and seeing the out. I decided that this would be a nature and art 5k today. I kept running to the museums, Isabella Stewart Gardner, past Mass Art, along Boston University’s art on my run. All this was next to the Muddy River Reservation which is apart of the Riverwalk on the Emerald Necklace.

Lots of art and nature or art in nature? The thing I couldn’t escape were those damn geese. They were everywhere. They were loud- which could be translated to talking I guess, eating, checking me out as I’m checking them out. I don’t think they got the 6 feet of physical distancing memo.
