July 2020

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

The fist of July is starting off rainy. I can’t even believe it is month 7 of 2020. All sense of months, seasons, days, and times have been extremely altered during the Rona. Here we are in July. I’m glad I have running pictures because I don’t remember much of June.

The first of the month starts on a Wednesday, 10k a.m. humpday. I was actually going to run a 10k today. My knee felt good, no to very little pain and I started to get a stride going but the rain came and it came hard.

Before all of my sweetness melted away my running route was inspired by badass greatness. From thinking about Black Lives Matter, black women such as Phyllis Whealthy, and those that survived the Boston Marathon bombing. Everyone was persistent and kept going through it all. It wasn’t any nor is it still easy, overcoming obstacles and challenges but people do.

I could appreciate all of this on 3.65 miles on a Wednesday morning, on the first day of July, 2020.
