COVID-19 “The Rona Era”

Track Tuesday, yup! It’s surprisingly cool this morning because it is going to be hot later on today. I’m going to take in the cool weather because in other places it is hot. I was talking with my Dad in Cincy and they have had close to 100% degree weather over the last couple of days. Fortunately, I don’t know anything about that now.

It 5:58 a.m. it was a good 65 degrees out when I started running. I ran for two miles before I started running towards the stadium. At first I saw more car traffic than paper when I was running. It is very clear that most of Boston is getting back to work. Even running past the T, I saw more people in it than I had in the last couple of months.
Running through Breman Street Park I saw the CBS news truck and one of the reporters, reporting live. I wanted to photo bomb or tv bomb him, I thought about it. I didn’t do it. I wanted to and could have. Next time, next time.

The Tuesday running and workout crew were all around the stadium and in the stadium. I only saw on woman running up the stadium steps, it was majority men doing that. The track was active. Pairs of people walking/running. People running solo around the track.

There was a mix bag of men and women on the field doing strengthening exercises and flipping tires. Next time I will just flip a tire or ask if I can flip a tire if someone is flipping it. So bizarre to say that.

I did my run around the track, do 10 squats and repeat.

I was getting a kick out of seeing so many people running on the track and working out. I would not even know we were in a pandemic because there were not a lot of people with mask on. I will admit mine was around my neck because I wasn’t around people while running. I kept my distance.

4.47 miles of running, sweat, and enjoying the morning
