Miles on a Wednesday

Miles on a Wednesday

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Today is 10k a.m. humpday. Even if I didn’t run a 10k this morning, it is still a 10k a.m. humpday, with reduce mileage. This morning, I had a hard time getting up. Last night I had dinner and drinks with my VP of our chapter union. She was giving me the 411 on all the happenings, since I’m on sabbatical. We met at 4:30pm at Seasons 52, on a Tuesday. There weren’t a lot of people there. By the time we left , which was around 7:30, the place was packed. We sat at the bar. The bar, the booth, the tables were all full…again, this was a Tuesday.

By the time I got home, had another snack, of popcorn and watched a movie it was time for bed. All that to say, Wednesday morning, I didn’t get up until 5:45 a.m. I choice to go back to sleep and run later in the morning. Today I have a hair appointment in Roxbury. My idea was to do some exercises at home, shower, and run in Roxbury before going to my hair appointment. This is my way of multitasking.

I ran and walked for 2.10 miles this morning. I also wanted to go to Dudley Cafe to get some work done as well.

Still moving and grooving in the morning.
