Santa and a 7 miler

Santa and a 7 miler

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

!0k a.m. humpday and the snow is coming. Luckily the snow is not here this morning when I ran but it’s coming later this afternoon. I wanted to get my run in this morning. I had headlight, gloves, tights, upper chest layers. I was ready. Of course when I walked out of my house I was hot. My body is just crazy right now. My period is on her way, which can explain some of the craziness. But I ran.

I had a good pace. I ran through Maverick station and up the hill towards Chelsea. In the morning darkness of the morning, the bridge was up. Wasn’t expect that. While I waited for the bridge to go down, I saw Santa and the reindeer’s on the salt pile in Chelsea. I couldn’t wait until the bridge went down so I could check him out. I ran past Santa and I kept running in Chelsea. It was pretty pleasant out. When I crossed the second bridge to head back into Boston, I didn’t have a problem.

I kept running and I kept feeling good. I ran through Brenman Park and the East Boston Harborway. When I arrived home, I saw I ran 6.88 miles. Dammit, I might as well make it 7. So I ran a loop around my block for 7.11 miles. That was the longest distance I have run in a while. And my pelvic floor felt fine.

Slowly building back up to double digits.
