Two mile Tuesday

Two mile Tuesday

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Last night I had a hard time getting to bed. I didn’t go to sleep until after 11pm and up by 5a.m. Overall six hours wasn’t bad but my sleep cycle might be off. It took me until 6a.m to start moving. My first class was at 9:25a.m. and I still needed to prep for it. I told myself, just do a mile. I signed up for the virtual Super Sunday Race challenge. I have thirty days to run 1 mile, 5 mile, 5k, 10k. Considering the lateness of the morning, I knew I could get a quick mile in.

Once I stretched, took some time and moved around, I was ready to run. It felt good. It was a nice warm 27 degrees out. I thought today was Fat Tuesday, clearly I was wrong and I blame COVID.

Instead of one mile, I ran 2.06 miles. I completed a mile for the challenge and a mile for me. Still got up and moved this body on a Tuesday.
