After the snow and rain

After the snow and rain

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Yesterday we had snow, in April, in Massachusetts. At some point the snow became rain and the rain was hard. I planned on running to honor the 32 people that were killed today in the shooting that happened on Virginia Tech’s campus. It happened in 2007 and it has been 14 years since that horrible day. Unfortunately the weather prevented me from running in their honor.

Today, the rain and snow are gone. My goal of running 3.2 miles will happen today. I ran 4.56 miles today to make up for yesterday. Hardly anyone was out when I ran along the Mystic River. I’m not sure if the weather kept most folks away. I wanted to double my mileage to 6.4 miles but then it started to rain. First light drizzle then it got hard. I’m not one to run in rain, so I stopped at 4.56 miles.
