Monday on the Trail

Monday on the Trail

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Monday to kick off the last week of April. This morning I’m running in Woburn on the Tri-Community Greenway. In Woburn, I usually see the Turkey mob when I run in the morning. My goal is to not run into the turkey mob. I started off by running to “ downtown Woburn” and then run to the Greenway. In my run, I did some hill running, which I wasn’t expecting. Nor was I expecting the guy in the truck to honk at me while running. That always makes me nervous when that happens. I was on the sidewalk and it was early in the morning. I’m not sure if he was honking to say Hi or good job, or looking good. Black woman running alone always makes me nervous, especially in an area I’m not familiar with . I went beyond my 4 mile goal this morning to start the week.

5.22 miles at 0:55:11, 10:34min/mile.
