Tulips, ducklings, and live nude girls

Tulips, ducklings, and live nude girls

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Spring is here. It’s Saturday and 59 degrees at 7a.m. Yes, yes, and yes. The weather is just right and I need to run some miles today. I saw on the news that the tulips in the public gardens were perking up. And I hadn’t seen the ducklings since Easter. I drove to the south end and started my running adventures. I didn’t even realize there were tulips blooming in the south end too, extra bonus. There were not a lot of people or activity this morning, even with the sunrise at 5:45 a.m. It was bright and motivating.

I did some stretching and made my way towards the tulips. While running I passed more tulips and live nude girls sign. I’m thinking it’s apart of an art museum exhibit or maybe not? I kept on going.

My pace was good and I felt good. I did see a women running a head of me. I tried to keep up with her but I wasn’t able to. I know she sped up my pace, thank you. Running between the Boston Commons and Public Gardens, I could see the color of the tulips. I saw reds and yellows. As I got closer, I saw there were folks in the park with their cameras. Lots of people had their cameras out. phone cameras, professional cameras, graduation photo shoot with cameras, and groups of people take photos. I ran through the park and so the ducklings in Easter and Boston marathon attire. I started to see more folks just taking in all the flowers. Today was a day that I could have run 6 or 7 miles. Steady. I’m proud of the 5.24 miles, 0:53:44, 10:15min’ml pace. I’m getting better and stronger.
