Over and under bridges for 2 miles

Over and under bridges for 2 miles

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

Do run or not, that is the question for this morning. Today could be a rest day or a running day. I’m just not sure. I was up by 4:45a.m. I left my bed, went to the couch and turned on the TV as I debated with myself.

Today is a good day to run before the rain comes. I could rest or do less miles. Or I could park at the grocery store, go running and then go grocery shopping afterwards which I’ve done numerous times. When I decided that I would run, it was 6:20a.m. It’s not like I don’t have radiation at 8:30a.m.

I drove to Mary O’ Mallory park. My plan was to run a 5k and then go home and get ready. When I got to the park it was 6:30am. It will take me around 30 minutes to run a 5k, which is doable on my time frame. That is without my pausing to take pictures and hang out with my stalkers.

There were people walking in the park. I saw two Latinx women running in the park. I wanted to give them a high five. I had to keep running. I ran, once throughout the park. Before I circled back for another round, I ran across the McAdle bridge that connects East Boston and Chelsea before heading back to the park.

I clearly lost track of time. When I ran to my car it was 7:10a.m. I like to leave by 7:30 for treatment. This was not going to happen this morning. I stopped at 2.60 a.m. miles. I not face enough for the .40 miles if I wanted to at least be home by 7:30a.m.

This is what happens when I debate myself. Maybe time, I should start the debate at 4a.m. :)
