COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

Yeah for a warm Friday morning. Today is Veterans day and there is no school. This doesn’t really impact me, since I don’t teach on Friday and it’s normally a research day anyway. This morning, I was tired. I slept in for a long while. I didn’t want to wear any reflective gear this morning. I just wanted to be. Around 6:25a.m. I eased my way out of bed and into to car. I did plan on going to Revere Beach for a Friday run. That didn’t happened. I went to Belle Isle Marsh instead. I haven’t been that way in a long time. To be honest, I like running on the beach as the sun slowly starts to rise up and the moon is still in the sky.

The Marsh is so beautiful and peaceful. It’s on the flight path to Logan Airport. I could see and hear the planes as they flew by. I did a mile and a half run/walk this morning. The goal is always to keep the body moving. I was moving.

Plus I tried to make a reel video of my experience this morning. I’m still new at this social media reel thing, so I gave it a try.

I was the only person walking/running in the Marsh this morning. I loved it.
