BMR/BGR run

BMR/BGR run

COVID_19, “The Rona Era”

It’s a rainy day. Today is also the second Saturday of the month Brother and Sister run with BMR. I was debating if I should go or not because I have so much work to do. I wanted to see other folks running. I wanted to see my community. This was the only time that could happen. I choice to have a couple of hours to spend socializing and being in community with other black runners.

The rain spot when we meet at 8a.m. I loved seeing our BMR brothers and my BGR sole sistas. There were runners from Tennessee and Alabama that joined us. They are here to run the B.A.A. half marathon on Sunday.

The love, community, fellowship, representation, accountability, was priceless. We ran a 5k shakeout run which was great. I ran in places in Dorchester that I never ran before.

I’m so glad, I took this time for me to run with the group.
