How will you get there on a Monday?

How will you get there on a Monday?

Covid 19, “ The Rona Era”

Sunday was Mother’s Day. It was nice, take it easy, brunch and cocktails kind of day. I might have over cocktailed, but you never really over cocktail. :). This morning, I wanted to slowly ease into running for the week. It’s 48 degrees and slightly cool but really sunny. Good weather for a 5k run.

As I ran along the waterfront, the water taxi was making it’s way toward the Hyatt Seaport. That’s one way to get around. I had the pleasure of seeing the city skyline and the taxi making it’s way to dock. So pretty. This kept my pep in my step going around the East Boston Harborwalk.

I ran through the shipyard to see all the boats. I know soon, they will all be in the water. Since the sky was so blue and the sun was out, the boats seemed larger than life as they were docked.

It still must have been early, on my side of town because I didn’t see any walkers or runners out. I had the morning to myself, which I loved. Then as I ran towards the Maverick T station, I saw all the people, going to work, school, or somewhere. Buses, bikes, T, and then there was me, the runner, running. :).

I thought about moving and trying to get to your destination or goal. You’ll get there somehow, some way, the mode of transportation to that destination can vary.

5k a.m. morning thoughts. This morning, it was a good run. I felt strong and in a good groove. Not bad for over cocktailing.
