Red Foilage for Tuesday

Red Foilage for Tuesday

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

It’s Tuesday. Today is the post BAA half marathon run. 4 miles today. I’m still a bit sore for running up those damn inclines in the cold. That was Sunday, today is Tuesday. It was time to go for a gentle run. The plan was a 5k but I got 4 miles in. I didn’t have the energy to get up at 5a.m. since I have to do that tomorrow. I left around 6:15a.m. when there was light out. I stayed running in my East Boston hood. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as cold as I thought. The leaves still have some red, yellow, and orange color to them.

Last night I meet with the Heartbreak Pacers for the end of the year celebration. It was so good to see everyone. I told them how much I miss our track Tuesdays. If it’s not the Reggie or MIT track, I can’t run on it. I feel as if I would be cheating on them. This morning I ran on the outside of the East Boston track as I continued my miles :).

My pace was a bit slow but I am still a bit tight. I’m glad I was able to move my body and celebrate with the pacers last night.
