Pond running with the stalkers

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

10k a.m. humpday! It’s been a while since I ran on a Wednesday. The last couple of Wednesday’s I went to the Y for strength training classes. This Saturday is a 20 mile long run on the Boston Marathon course, I think I need more running hill drills to get ready. This morning, I ran around Horn Pond, 4 miles then worked the Hills for 2 miles. I really need to buckle down on my nutrition. My legs felt tired. I don’t think I drank enough water last night. It was a bit of a struggle but I did the best I could. The hills around Horn Pond are no joke. I know it’s good practice for Big Sur.

This morning the stalkers were out in full force. I really felt as if they were following me this morning. It was very quiet around the pond this morning. Besides a couple of runners and bird watchers, it was me and the stalkers.

Overall a good 10k training run. My legs do need to rest a bit.
