Ending Running Strong
The last day of February! The last day of Black History Month! The last Treadmill workout of the month! It’s snowing today. The snow is light,fluffy and it’s not sticking. I wasn’t sure if class would be cancelled or how much snow we would get. I was uber happy that it was nothing and I can end the month with my treadmill workout.
En route to the Heartbreak Hill running company I saw the snow removal trucks and work crews out in full force salting and shoveling. Parking in front of the running company was no problem. I was the first person in the studio1 -yeah.
Today’s workout dealt a lot with speed. I was running at 7.0 and beyond pace today. My motivation was last week’s heartbreak hill and running part of the Boston Marathon course and those hills. I want to do better and not let the hills defeat me.
I was super proud of myself today.
Fuel for thought: Nutrition! Yesterday I had a headache and I didn’t feel well. I realized that I snack at work. Healthy snacking but I do not eat full lunch meals and that is what I need to do. I got home, I ate a full meal, slept, and felt 100% better.
