COVID-19, ‘The Rona Era”

Today is Track Tuesday and I completely forgot that it was Track Tuesday. Since it had been a while, I planned on running in the city. I drove to Roxbury because I was needing some Roxbury Love while I run. At 57 degrees and my headlight I started to run through Dudley Square on my themed Roxbury run. Passing black art, black lives matters signs, black business matters signs were important to me. It is the bit of connection and familiarity that is welcoming and inspiring.

I found new mural art from problack, which I love. The history of this community comes through in the twilight of the morning with the city lights as a back drop.

I didn’t see anyone running this morning. Lots of cars with people on the move going somewhere.

I ran passed the Reggie Lewis Center, Mosque, Boston Police Department, Public Housing, Northeastern University , Massachusetts Avenue ( Mass Ave), so many parts of Roxbury that are wonderful jewels.

Before I knew it 4.15 was done and I still felt strong.
