Monday = urban art run

Monday = urban art run

We are in the era of COVID-19. Yesterday after my 7.07 mile long Sunday run I went to brunch. Since all church services were canceled, I could at least drink, eat, and hear good music. I did that. Since it was such a nice day I walked to the Public Gardens and saw the ducks. Good day. Then the news had an update. Starting today restaurants will only have carry out and take out service no more dinning in. No more hanging out at the coffee shop. Get your coffee and get out. All the schools, public and private are closed until April. Any event with a gathering of over 50 people is cancelled. This was all Sunday.

Today is Monday. Of course I was running. I wanted this to be a fun run. As I ran through the southwest corridor at 6 a.m. I saw art. The museums are closed. There is free, beautiful, urban art. I made a point of running by murals that I knew of and seeking other possible murals. I enjoyed myself in the 4.46 mile running route.

I had a good strong stride. I could have done 5 but I did not want to push myself. My pace and stamina is improving.
