1st Run of May

1st Run of May

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

I might have accidentally over birthday last weekend. The second year of pandemic birthday celebration calls for doing it up. This year, most of my friends have all been vaccinated, I’ve been vaccinated. This year celebrations included hugs, kisses, and social outting. I did 47 right.

Now it’s Monday, May 3rd and I need to hit the pavement and recovery from birthday shenanigans . That also means not being surprised by the extra 4 pounds on my assets. The cakes, wine, cocktails, cookies, and more.

To kick off May, I ran along the Mystic River Reservations. I knew I could run 5 miles along the Mystic. My new goal is to five miles at least twice a week during the month of May. My new 47 year old, post recovery birthday self ran 5.10 miles ; 0:52;32; 10:18 min/ml.
