Sunday Beach Walk

Sunday Beach Walk

Coivd-19 “ The Rona Era”

I did a long run on Saturday so Sunday should be an easy run. That was the plan. Since it is hot, always hot, I thought a light run on the beach could check off a couple of boxes.

I was ready, on the beach, and I started to run. Then I decided that I didn’t want to run and I would rather just walk. For some reason I don’t mix up walking and running. Most people will go for a 10 to 30 minute walk. I don’t walk as often as I should. This morning I stopped running and walked 2 miles on the beach. It was more than a leisure walk. I did pick up the pace. I also enjoyed my surroundings, breathed in the ocean air, looked at the people enjoying the beach. It was all wonderful. Another reminder to myself to do this. I still moved and did something for my emotional and mental health. Winning across the board.
