Stalkers and colors in the sky

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

!0k a.m. humpday run day. Today, I wanted to run around Castle Island because it has been a while. I drove to the seaport area and run towards Castle Island. This morning it was cooler than yesterday but it will be in the 50s later on today. It still wasn’t bad out for 34 degrees. On my run, the colors in the sky were gorgeous. I had to stop and take pictures and just take in the magnitude and beauty of it all.

There weren’t a lot of people or cars out, yet, in the morning. I could take everything in. When I ran into castle island, I started to see groups of runners, walkers, and photographers waiting for the sun to rise.

My run was good, strong, and steady. I just stopped to take in the views several times along my running route. After running around the island, I made my way towards M street Beach. That’s when I saw them. The stalker pigeons. They are a pack. They were everywhere. I was fascinated. They would fly out towards the water and then come back to land. They repeated this patterned several times. So weird. I’m wondering if they are trying to tell us humans something…hmm….?

I kept on running. I could see the sun slowly starting to come up over the water. The sun coming up, added a new perspective to the painted the sky. It was like a slow dominance because he was about to take over.

I could have kept running further, towards Carson Beach but M street Beach was good enough. I turned around and ran back towards the seaport area to my car.

I ran 6.79 miles, beyond a 10k. I could have done 7 but I didn’t and that is ok.
