Friday T adventure
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
It’s time for a Friday adventure. Today is an official week since surgery. This same time last Friday I took the T and walked to the hospital before the reconstruction. To mix up the walk, I took the T to the Boston Commons and Public Gardens. Walking for an hour , yields three miles plus or minus. I want to wait a bit before I drive and walk to a new location.
With restrictions lifted, I’m glad everyone had there mask on in the T. The T was busy for a Friday morning at 6a.m. Not packed but busy with riders.
I got off at State Street and walked through downtown crossing, which I haven’t done, forever. Then I made my towards Boston Commons and the Public Gardens.
June is pride month. I hoped to see the Ducklings in pride colors. Unfortunately they were not, which was a let down. The beauty of the gardens and stalker ducks and squirrels made it worth it.
This was my fun walking outing before 7 hours of back to back meetings today.
